oddball Re: INTERNATIONAL FORUMS ABOUT ENGLISH? 13.03.03, 10:28 Try: linguist.emich.edu/~ask-ling - for hard-core lingustic questions and discussion. Or the new forum at www.world-english.org for more everyday level English language stuff. Both seem to be rather good. eliz123 napisała: > anyone know of any non-polish forums for serious discussion of english > related stuff? Odpowiedz Link Zgłoś
englishpl Re: INTERNATIONAL FORUMS ABOUT ENGLISH? 19.03.03, 16:57 As someone else stated this gazeta forum isn't a place to improve your English. Maybe just to parade the little knowledge you have in front of people who know even less. The advanced users of English are elsewhere. Odpowiedz Link Zgłoś

In Australia! Living in a country doesn't make one an expert in the language. One can live in Australia, England, the USA for years and still not get above elementary level. Besides most Polish people living in English-speaking countries are working as cleaners, handymen, au pairs and so on. So they aren't exposed to high level English! Odpowiedz Link Zgłoś

Yes, welcome aboard ukok - you've just added pleasantly to that. Was it to prove anything (like little knowledge?) You see when you start learning sth you never know everything. Some learn others... critisize. Odpowiedz Link Zgłoś

Maybe this place is best for you. Odpowiedz Link Zgłoś
