The Times They are A-Changin'

In fact nothing changes at all. At least not a human nature nor economics. We
are back to an old economical cycle (branded by J.M. Keynes in 1935 'a
liquidity trap') that calls for the so called World War. The third one in a
row is about to begin. Whoever wins will become a hero, whoever loses will be
known to our kids as a criminal. History books have to be written again and
again. But we already know who is going to win don't we? At least as long as
the war is short and does not involve too many contenders.

K.K. powiedzial: "In fact nothing changes at all."

puk-puk, ktos w domu? KK, wracaj z pustyni do swiata. spotkaj ludzi. zamknij
      sie, i posluchaj innych.

Couldn't you be more specific? What people should I talk to? What am I missing
while living here in Sydney? Should I rather move to Sfornegacie to be in touch
        with the World?

kk, do you think you are the only one struggling to understand why WE are here,
in this world, so temporarilly? i have no answer why i am here. do you? you
talk about 'civilisation', big word, to be sure. for me, that i am in warsaw,
los angeles, or bangkok, it doesn't really matter. 'other' people are MORE
alike than they are different. we can speak the same language (with 'them')
even if they don't speak polish (though english helps...)
          ;)

Do you mean that if I embrace a pedestrian in Bangkok, the World will
automatically become a better place to live with G.W. Bush withdrawing from
            Baghdad?

kk, you're mixing baghdad with bangkok unnecessarily; you need to look at each
separately. i didn't say that that because you embrace one person, then the
WORLD will become thus (miraculously) better. the world, then, will only see
another example of a display of healthy emotion instead of aggressive one.
              that's it.

Mirka, you wrote: 'you're mixing baghdad with bangkok unnecessarily; you need
to look at each separately'. Do I really need to look at those cities at all?
Have you ever visited either of those places?

it happens that i have, kk (bangkok), and a few others. what is your point,
though? that 'they' are different from 'us' (or maybe from you)? they have the
same fears and joys as you do; that i can assure you, kk. something tells me
that you must be either a romantic or catholic (or both?). you see in something
unknown to you a threat or (unrealistic) hope. do you go to mass on sundays and
feel good after that spectacle? "congratulations", kk. it must feel good, but
is it realistic? and, lastly, something tells me that you purposely are hiding
the third 'k' from your nick.

What is better from your point of you, to be a romantic or catholic? As a Pole
I could be both, genetically, however only the former one appeals to me. Look,
if I have added a popular dirty Polish expression that starts with a letter "K"
to the end of my nick, my nickname could turn into that triple K US taboo. No,
that's not me. My nickname expresses purely my dislike of the capitalism (only
as much as I hated communism before) in its current subhuman (ie american)
                    version. That's all.

i don't know if "dislik[ing] ... the capitalism (only as much as I hated
communism before) in its current subhuman (i.e. american) version" is the way
to go. 'disliking' is taking a resigned position, or that which those in
control want to, and I and the rest under control, to take. why not get
involved? make use of pen and paper? organize a new revival of consciousness
                      among those 'deprived'?
it is easy for us to complain, while sitting back and doing nothing. the
complain tradition is tacit agreement with the statue quo. this is what any
establishment wants. perhaps you feel too cynical about change to move your
finger in either direction. if so, then you have already given up on your dream.

KK: I am currently quite busy in a permanent job position, but if I loose this
one again... That will happen sooner or later.
