A question to those living in the UK.
Do you know any cider that does not contain sweeteners? I don't intake
anything containing this crap.

Hmmm, I've always had the impression that cider itself - in principle - was
considered to be a "crap" drink?

Cider in pubs, and the cheap stuff in plastic bottles (made for alcoholics)is
indeed crap. The better stuff, especially in the cider growing districts is a
drink from heaven. And no sweeteners or artificial ingredients.

In pubs, Woodpecker usually has sweetners, Strongbow does not.

Still, you won't catch the so-called "middle classes" drinking the stuff, will
you? Strongbow or not... I say it's a cheap-o, working class drink ;-)

              So what do snobs drink?
Poles have got some weird ideas about cider... Generally, they know nothing
about it but like to show off that they've seen it.
Personally, I prefer dry cider to sweet cider (little girls drink sweet cider),
purists prefer scrumpy (mostly an acquired taste) and the super-strong
sulphurous shite that costs 2.49 for a huge plastic bottle is purely functional.

jolly good - you drink equivalent to polish cheap apple wine - no matter under
what label, be it Gaymers, Blackthorn or White Diamond - I shall continue with
G&T of the Bombay Saphire variety, thank you

              I am working class.
              Strongbow is contaminated by sweeteners.
