      Dla kazdego cos innego.
      • mudzyn7 Re: stroke 26.05.07, 18:57

            Got a little motto
            Always sees me through -
            When you're good to Mama
            Mama's good to you!

            Let's all stroke together
            Like the Princeton crew -
            When you're strokin' Mama
            Mama's strokin' you!
            • kurdelebele Re: stroke 27.05.07, 16:23
              Very nice.

But still useless, to my mind.

                >> Very nice. But still useless, to my mind.

stroke = to rub gently in one direction; to caress = delikatnie glaskac lub
piescic = sprawiac przyjemnosc w okreslony sposob

czyli ze "different strokes for different folks" = doslownie "rozne

Horses for courses znaczy to samo, a jest chyba jeszcze bardziej enigmatyczne.

This girl I just met stroke me as a flaky one.

PS> What does a "flaky" mean, in my opinion it's someone who is easy to manipulate, and does exactly what you tell her to do...not in a good way.

              Any ideas?
              • jarka63 Re: stroke 30.05.07, 17:03

An unreliable person. A procrastinator. A careless or lazy person. Dishonest and
doesn't keep to their word. They'll tell you they're going to do one thing, and
                      never do it.

Yeah, I always thought that that was a definition of flaky, thanx Kisiulak.

                          I totally hear you :)

                          Also, I recommend www.urbandictionary.com
You can learn lots of great stuff there :)

Like the word "holla" was always a mistery to me, and Urban Dictionary cleared
it right up for me ;)

Although me stroking kindly Paper Mate generates a gagguing reflux,
Saying Holla, Holla to You Kisiulak seems like a good idea!
                              • kisiulak Re: flaky 30.05.07, 19:16
                                Holla back yo!
