Real Estate agent

Hi,
I am impressed with your answers - you know everything, even how to
make your foreign accent not so strong. I thought that you won't be
able to answer it.;) But your advice is useful!
And now I have my question to you: what can you say about
possibilities of work at real estate agency in London? I mean polish
people. I've been working as an agent for a few years in Warsaw. I
have all credentials etc. Will they come in handy in London? May I
work "with" polish people who are looking flats to stay in London or
so?
Thank you in advance for your assistance,
Liz
ps. I am 30 years old, graduated from university, single.;)

Hi Liz...Thanks for the compliments!I heard a story of a Polish guy
who worked in recruitment in Poland...he applied for a similar
position with a UK company who were speciacally looking to recruit
Polish nationals for UK based coprorations. He got the the job.
Based on that, and the fact that the UK is host to so many Polish
people, I really you have a very good chance.

Good! And I am sure you’ll do well. I think an ‘I can’ positive
attitude can lead to monumental life enhancing changes ….and…excuse
me if I digress …but my own ‘I can’ mantra comes from personal
experiences….a few years ago I had just set-up a business in Hong
Kong. The projects I thought would come in didn’t and I soon found I
had run out of money. I gathered up all my processions, including my
prized camera with telephoto lens, and large CD collection and sold
them for almost nothing to some Chinese street vendors. That kept me
going for a few weeks. But still no projects. I strongly believed
that something would come in. For two days I had nothing to eat.
Even the insects stayed out of my apartment as I literally had
nothing! I slept in my suit as I thought this showed positive
intention. On the third day the phone rang. Two hours later I had my
          first project.

The business began to build up because I always said to myself…’I
can.’ I had an idea for Sega and told my friends I wanted to meet
their president. Everybody laughed and said things like…’If you were
Richard Branson it might be possible’…and…’you don’t even speak
Japanese..’ A few months later I met the President of Sega and 6 of
his Vice Presidents in Sega’s Tokyo head office. I hired a Japanese
          interpreter.

Shortly afterwards I had a chance meeting with Ray-Ban. My friends
said things like ‘they’ll never do business with you…your company is
too small…how could you even finance a project with them?’ We got
the project we wanted and asked Ray-Ban to finance it.

Everyone has an opinion, and that’s fine with me because ‘I can!’

You are good example for me, really. I admire your soul power in all
it! And now you don't mind answering questions like these...Congrats
            and thanks!
I am thinking about working in UK mainly because it would be a
chance to "feel" some another country (so different in comparison
with Poland) and it would be great adventure and experience for me,
openning me to something more maybe. Do you mind it?;)

      Hello,
I've got two Polish friends working as a estate agents in London. No experience was necessary - only commitment and charisma. Go for it. Good luck !
