An Australian woman has been sexually assaulted at knifepoint in her car in
London after two men forced their way into the vehicle at traffic lights .
Police said the 27-year-old recruitment consultant, was travelling alone to
her home in the Midlands last Monday on the way back from a skiing holiday in
France when she was attacked between 2.00am and 4.00am.
After the attack, she was thrown from her car. She blacked out after hitting
her head on the road as the attackers drove off.
On regaining consciousness, she wandered terrified and disorientated through
the streets until she found a taxi office from where the police were called.
She received several cuts to her hands after fighting with one of the men who
sat in the passenger seat and threatened her with a large knife . The second
suspect was in the back seat.
They ordered her to drive to nearby Willesden Green and repeatedly sexually
assaulted her during the journey.
"This was a terrifying attack on a young defenceless female travelling through
central London," said Detective Inspector Glen Lloyd, of the Brent Sapphire Unit.

"She thinks she blacked out after falling from the car so doesn't know how
long she was with the two men."
Both suspects were black, with the first one in his mid 20s, with shoulder
length dreadlocks, while the victim described the second man as having a
chubby face.
