day or different presentation, same outcome eg the American
presidential candidates... same meat, different gravy...

'Meat' also means the body as an unemotional sex object or the sexual organs
themselves. A group of whites talking about the sexual appeal of black girls
might say "same meat, different gravy' meaning either that black and white
girls are the same or that they only care about having sex and the girl herself
doesn't matter.
