tomboyyz where are you?!

IP: *.olsztyn.sdi.tpnet.pl 08.08.01, 10:26
I miss your posts :)))

You said your girlfriend is Polish and you live in belgium, am I right? I was
just wondering if she found being openly lesbian here as hard as I do... Now
I''m seriously considering leaving the country since my girlfriend left me due
to her family''s pressure.

Take care, both of you!
By the way, thanks for the urls :)

That is a good question. I know she found it hard to find other lesbians in
Poland. We met here in Brussels.. but we are going to live in the USA if she can
get her greencard. If not, we are thinking of moving to Canada or even to Poland.
I will let her know of you post if she doesn''t see it before I get to tell her.
Maybe she will have some advise for you.

Keep your head up. Cheers 8-)

Good to know you''re there :-)
Well yes, it IS hard to find other gay people here as almost everyone is doing
his/her best to keep it a secret. Of course, there are some gay clubs and
organisations in bigger towns, but the worst thing ever is the complete lack of
support for homosexual youth from their schools, student organisations and
often families. Just look at the American GLSEN web site: Teaching Rescpect for
All, Student Pride, GSA groups... in Poland it''s still centuries away.
I don''t believe I can change this any more. Maybe I''m a coward, but I do want
        to leave.

      Hello ore ,

Glad to here from you !. I thought that it is only tomboyyz and me who are
openly gay here. Yes, Poland is very tough for lesbians. I mean they simple
don''t exist for many people, and it is really annoying. I think the best
thing a lesbian can do in Poland is to acquire an internation job and leave
this country. Nowdays there are many possibilites.

So it''s three of us now, dear ? (so strange to call you so!)
I assume you''re Polish (and of course may be wrong), but let''s keep it an
        English thread for tomboyyz''s sake.
Where are you from or shall I not ask? Would be great to get in touch with
        other gay people here!

Yes 3 of us, but still to few to overtake this forum dominated by breeders :)
I am from US !. And yes I am polish. You can ask tomboyyz for my e-mail (if you
          wish).

Would you mind comparing shortly the situation of gay people in Poland and the
            US for me?

US is not the best country to live when you are gay but you can get by without
any problems. People are not so tolerant like in Western Europe but on the other
hand if you are not very flamboyant everything should be fine. Of course there
are places in US (like San Francisco) where almost everyone is gay but it''s
another sory. Who would like to live in ghetto? Americans like to gossip and
many of them are not very open minded, but gay person has much more possibilties
here than in Poland. You have to ask tomboyyz about details because she grew up
in US so she knows how to survive here.

Now it''s four of us:)I''m really glad that I found you in this anonymous crowd.
It''s a great feeling when you can talk to somebody and say exactly what you
feel and think, including your dreams and fantasies, and when you don''t have to
            call HER - HIM...

This is great maybe more Polish lesbian will come out and talk with us. I thank
you all for keeping the thread in English. I am trying to learn Polish but I
find it to be a difficult task. Moja Pani is teaching me but it''s hard when she
is in US and I am still stuck in Belgium for 4 more months. I hope to visit
Poland once more before I return to the US. Wouldn''t it be fun if we could all
      meet?
      Cheers,

Well, to be honest it was pretty annoying (especially since majority of people doing that are Jew-hating
psychos). On the other hand, big cheers for you girls from the Uk!

btw - the only lesbian I know is from Belgium too :-)
              • Gość: ore Re: Good idea! IP: *.olsztyn.sdi.tpnet.pl 10.08.01, 16:52
As far as I know, none of us comes from the UK :-) And I don`t think that girl
from Belgium is really the ONLY lesbian you know. Most of us just don`t come
                out... you understand.
