English 4U - Lesson 2

Hi there everybody,

As you had a chance to see, my "Lesson 1" met with quite satisfactory
response,of course as the output goes:P I'm really happy to notice some
positive reactions:) There were also some aggressive remarks, but I find it
always useful, as long as no one tries to offend me. I hope that my effort
will be intelectually profitable and your English curiosity will get
stimulated:)

Some of you complained about the register I used, please...cool your jets:)
To satisfy you it's gonna be informal, of course to some extent.

I provide you with my translation. As you will see, some translations are not
given, because it's impossible to make it sound natural in Polish. It has its
own unique flavor only in English:)

Lesson 2

Funny & sometimes insulting ways to talk about

* Death, pisssing and masturbation.

WARNING - TOTALLY INFORMAL - WARNING

1) Death

* give an obolus to Charon - zapłacić Charonowi za przepłynięcie przez Styks
* give up the ghost - wyzionąć ducha
* go home feet first - wyciągnąć kopyta
* kicked the oxygen habit, kick the bucket - kopnąć w kalendarz
* take a dirt nap -
* take an earth bath - wziąć kąpiel w ziemi :)
* singing with angels - zaśpiewać z aniołami

2) Pissing

* drain the snake - wyprowadzić węża na spacer (niedosłowne tłumaczenie)
* feed the dog
* go tap a kidney - może w znaczeniu, iść i odcedzić kartofelki:)
* have Chinese singing lesson
* pay a visit to the old soldier's home - znam, ale nigdy nie słyszałem w
użyciu:)
* point Percy at the porcelain
* shake the dew off lily
* take a dog for a walk
* tap a keg

3) Masturbation

* bleed the weed
* blow your own horn
* cuddle the kielbasa - "kielbasa" exists as a loan word in English.
* date Miss Michigan
* date Mrs. Palmer and her five daughters
* date Rosie Palm and her five sisters
* defrosting the fridge
* eating grapes with one-armed man
* feed the ducks
* making a cashwithdrawal - my favorite one
* making the bald man cry
* milk the lizard
* play a one-stringed guitar - great one :)
* pump the python
* take the monster for a one-armed ride
* shake the general
and eventually....jerk off, but among those above it sounds typical:)
