    czy mozna powiedziec: there are invited i teraz wymienic kilka nazwisk. czy
    taka konstrukcja jest poprawna?

        Moze i jest to dobrze, ale ja bym raczej napisal "there are several people
        invited to the party: ... " (ew. bez "to the party"), albo "among the invited
        guests are ..."

        Ale mowie, nie upieram sie, ze Twoja propozycja jest niewlasciwa, moze sam za
        bardzo kombinuje.

          ja najprosciej bym powiedziala they were inviting to the party
          i wtedy bedzie strona bierna ze byli zaproszeni na przyjecie

          There are invited.... - does not sound good!

          "methinks" is giving you two, much better options ie. "there are several people
          invited to the party: ... " (ew. bez "to the party"), albo "among the invited
          guests are ..."

        There are invited guests: John Brown, Ian Smith....
