Please forgive me, I know, I know in this forum everybody needs only grammar
advice and some help in doing homework but I still can't resist. It's so
funny! They say women are equal to men, but it's a warning for women only,
men are ok, they can marry muslim women, there is no danger here. So, be
warned all catholic women.

Vatican Discourages Marriage With Muslims for Catholic Women

a pointed reference to Islam, the document released Friday said, "It is well
known that the norms of the two religions are in stark contrast."

If Catholics do choose to marry Muslims, the document says, they must be sure
to baptize their children and avoid signing Islamic documents or swearing
oaths, including the "shahada," Islam's profession of faith.

All Catholics, it warns, "must take a firm stand on what the church requires."

Funny it may sound for a few but the majority of obsessed with 'getting saved'
catholics are getting another injunction from the upholders of christian
(therefore Western) values in Vatican. What a fucking mafia! There was an
interesting article in one of the recent "Wprost" magazines about missing
millions of dollars for Solidarnosc and the role of 'father' Marcinkus, the
former Vatican treasurer, who could throw some light on the whereabouts of the
mentioned dollars but he... wouldn't... He is in hiding, you see. The Italian
police would like to ask him few questions too.

Probably because muslim women are considered docile enough to be a good
material for conversion by their catholic husbands...

I'm sure that He loved migrants: He also showed a fair deal of affection to
Mary Magdalene.

True, he isn't very open minded nor inclusive but I'm aware of two instances
where he admitts defeat... One is somewhere in the manual where he concedes
that iron charriots were too tough a cookie for him (Romans had iron charriots)
and second time when Pompei rode to the sacred spot and nothing happened to
him... Nothing!

What an irony of history that it was the 'same'Romans who imposed this fringe
cult on the world!

You make an issue of this, but remember that in Islam the role of the man is
very favorable in comparison to that of the woman. If a Catholic man marries an
Islamic woman, well he's probably got himself a better deal than the catholic
woman who does the converse (while I've written this the Red Sea Riviera ad has
just shown on TV, which is a great ad for Mediterranean womanhodd, as if they
really dressed like that in Islamic countries!)

You may note that a man who gets fed up of living in an Islamic country and
leaves his wife there will get his kids out. A Polish woman will find that if
she has enough of Abdul, and wants to go home, she goes without her children.
And who wants that to happen?

The advice is good, even I, a critic of catholicism, have to give credit where
it is due.

I wish that were more the case than it is. In many respects Islam and
Catholicism are all too similar.

Too true. Once you say "Allah illah wa mahmood rasool illah" then as far as
they are concerned you are a Muzzle and fall under their law. prepare to be
stoned if you ever go back on it or say you didn't know you were doing anything
other than reciting gibberish.

Fair enough. I'm not a Catholic, but if you're gonna be in a religion, best
play it by the rules.

surely, Uncle Davey, you do not list a long litany of Muslim legal and
spiritual depravity to somehow justify the actions of the Catholic Church?
there is no central authority in Islam, and no single office the equivalent of
the Vatican. you are talking about extreeme, fundamentalist Islam. there are
Islamic societies where womens' rights are tolerable. that the Vatican grasps
to share with extreeme fringes of Islam the lowest common denominator in this
contest is a real discredit to it.
I see that you do not credit the Catholic Church with any serious claims for
higher ground than Islam, but is this not kind of like saying that since Saddam
tortured Iraquis, George is entitled to do so too.

You seem to know of some branch of C. that is being soiled by the actions of
the main body of this corporation represented by Vatican... Can you share this
precious knowledge. Of course, as usual... I generalize in order to dismiss it
