Gość: PJ IP: 217.153.12.* 22.05.04, 18:29 Is there any common name for bracket fungi (po polsku HUBA). Would you say, 'look at that bracket fungus!' or would you say something else. Odpowiedz Link Zgłoś Obserwuj wątek Podgląd Opublikuj
Gość: Bodzu Re: HUBA - BRACKET FUNGUS IP: *.crowley.pl 22.05.04, 22:58 You're right. Huba = 'bracket fungus' also 'shelf fungus' alternatively 'polypore' But I'm not a biologist that's why I need to recommend the first one and the second (that's synonym) 'cause it's most common (maybe I can't see any important difference) Polypore = a woody pore fungus, Laetiporus (Polyporus) sulphureus, that forms large, brightly colored, shelflike growths on old logs and tree stumps. Bracket fungus = any of various fungi that form shelflike growths on tree trunks and wood structures. Also called shelf fungus. Odpowiedz Link Zgłoś
jadefish Re: HUBA - BRACKET FUNGUS 23.05.04, 00:51 i'd say: "Dude, check out the tree shroom!" But seriously... it's apparently know as a "Dryad's Saddle". But i never know that till i googled it. www.btinternet.com/~arb_exchange/trunkline/pests/aie_pd_dryad.html Gość portalu: PJ napisał(a): > Is there any common name for bracket fungi (po polsku HUBA).
