I'm reading the "Divine secrets of the ya-ya sisterhood" now, and I not sure
what this sentence can mean-
"tap-dancing child abuser".
Help me please :)

child abuser is a person who uses children for his/her perverted sexual
purposes (molests them)

tap-dancing = stepowanie
child abuser = osoba molestująca dzieci; z reguły wyrażenie to oznacza pedofila,
ale może również oznaczać osobę maltretującą dziecko fizycznie i psychicznie,
