          1. bląd ortograficzny
          2. nazwa wlasna
          3. czekoladka/cukierek trzyczesciowy :)

I watched all the episodes and loved them. In fact, it was a three piece suite
( our American loveseat couch, a three seater couch and an easy chair). The
delievery guys never made it and they crashed the van a few blocks away. And
who delivers the furniture?....Onslow himself! Mrs. Bucket doesn't like seeing
her brother-in-law in her middle class neghbourhood. He never wears any clothes
except an old ratty muscle shirt. :)

I didn't like some of them. At some point it was too much for me... But this one
, yes, it was great. And remeber? - poor Richard with some change asking the
delivery guys to go round the estate a few times...

Yes, and you can only admire Richard's patience with the ball and chain. I
wonder if you remember in which episode he told Hyacinth to be quiet and get in
the car. It was quite a remarkable scene and the only one where Richard's
standing up to her (and she actually LISTENS!).
That's true, you can only watch it so many times. I think it's still running
here on some cable channels late at night. I think I have memorized all the
                dialogues by now.
Which ones didn't you like? Just wondering. I think they are all pretty good...
We really need more quality stuff instead of some dumb reality shows and
sitcoms that make you feel sorry for the people that are in them.
                :)

Kylie1 are you in England now????

well, unfortunatelly i haven't watched all series YET:)) but I remember one
more, when Mrs. Bucket decided to organize parties for other people and when she
finally found a client it appeared that it was some .....'brothel' where her
father was as well:))))))))))) It was extremely wanderful:))

Kylie1 do you know 'Absolutely fabulous'? I'm sure you do:) It was also
.......fabulous! unfortunately, i'm here in Poland and I can't find this serial
                  even on DVD:))

BTW I think that English comedies are really good, although not all people
understand them!! besides, i love listetning to their accent!! it's wonderful:))

                  Best regards

Never heard of it. What's it about? Is it a newer one?

Mr.Bean was popular here for a while and I have a few of his comedies on tape.
Other than that, I am not too familiar with British comedy. Some of the older
ones you can watch late at night as reruns but I must be too dumb to understand
them...Monty Python or Are you being served...I don't get the humor in those at
                    all...

I'm not sure... I don't think it was his early retirement... I think there was
an episode when he went to a pub with Onslow. Remeber? The game of pools (?) and
then the meeting with the ladies:)))
Then any conversation with Sheradon is hilarious. I wonder if he's ever shown?
The clever guy in his silk pyjamas:))))

That's right... There weren't episodes I particularly disliked... Only at times
I thought it was tooo much... the way Caroline spilt her coffee... or the way
Hyacinth treated other human beings... Well, perhaps it made me me think of
somebody I know in real life:( (but for that reason I started another thread -
                  it got cut off:))

                    > I'm not sure..

Well, it was one where Richard, Hyacinth and Elizabeth are in the car and H.
decides to make a call from a phone booth.Just as she is getting out of the
car, a guy gets in the booth ahead of her. The whole scene is a riot - she
tells him to hurry up, looks at her watch, rolls her eyes up and she is plain
livid with him. The guy inside the booth steps out for a second and tells her
to shove it (in a nice way) but she is persistent. At that moment Richard has
had it, gets out of the car and orders Hyacinth (like a drill seargent) to get
in the car "right now". With whatever dignity she is left, she sticks her nose
up in the air, straightens her hat and does as told.

It was the only time I can remember she listened to Richard.

                    > The clever guy in his silk pyjamas:))))

Well, Sharadon is as gay as they come and H. is very accepting of the fact that
her "boy" drops out of college to find interest in crocheting and needle work!
                    That's sooo funny!

                    :)

You can find lots of comedy clips here, including Absolutely Fabulous and
Keeping up Appearances. I'd recommend Dead Ringers esp when they do Delia Smith
(How to boil water)- she brought cookery to the masses before the young
upstarts took over on TV but she still holds her own.

Delia Smith is our Martha Stewart, I guess.
Absolutely Fabulous looks like a situational comedy to me. Unfortunately, it's
not my type at all. I will keep looking...:)

I don't really know any of the shows you guys are raving about ;) but to me as the younger generation ;) "Coupling" is definitely the masterpiece of all time. You're into that too? I heard some dumb Hollywood exec came up with an idea to make a US-set remake but opinions on Coupling fanboards will give you an excellent idea of how successful that enterprise actually was.. ;)

"Well.. she's not that huge.. you see. She's somewhere between completely imaginary and a truck!"

That's just a sample from a countless anthology of Jeffisms. You can find a whole lot more on the BBC site. Season 4 was without Jeff, unfortunately, but only one bit less funny, I have to give them that.

                          Anyone?

It's British, it's hilarious and it's not as monotonus as the one on snobby
Hiacynth. Not that I don't like "Keeping Up Appearances" - I love it actually.
And there's Allo Allo! As well. Have you ever heard of The Fallen Madonna With
        The Big Boobies?
