Polish and Proud; why not?

18.07.05, 12:23
Poland needs positive symbols, and Arch of Triumph located in Warsaw could be
a good begining.
Aren't you guys tired of martirdom? I am. Let's create or (recreate for that
part) something that will make other jealous.
If British followed "our greatness is now past" rationale, they would have to
change the name of their country Great Britain to Mediocry Britain, to
better convey the present state of their country.
Why rename Republic of Poland (Rzeczpospolita Polska) to Bright
Poland,Eminence Poland or Polska Rzeczposlpolita Najjasniejsza?

      Waldek,
Can you please keep your ideas and opinions to one post, in which your place
all your political and cultural sugesstions.
      Thanks,

Waldek, can you please stop spamming?
        • waldek1610 focusing on polish issues 18.07.05, 12:49
Those issues are important to me, besides this is Polish site, so focusing on,
and dissecting Polish issues should not bother anyone..

I will try, but as I noticed sharply named post, gets more responses than one
with a bad title. And as I get more input I get better and new ideas, which I
would like do discuss. Is it ok with you?
I did that for the same reason the fisherman and game funters are not in the
        union, they have different concerns.
How can you discuss 3 different subjects in one post?

That, actually, would be a very bad beginning, Waldek, based on Their(the
Froggs') record of bravery. But then, the Poles have plenty of lovely named
squares, don't they? What's wrong with that as a positive symbol?

Sure, I guess you conveniently (here we go again) forgot Polish pilots bravery
was legendary in the Battle of England 1940-1943, virtually saving Britain from
Nazi occupation, but who cares now, right?
Same thing with 1683 Polands saving Vienna and western Europe from Turks.
Now, they like to "welcome" Poland to Europe, give me a brake. It's like
            teaching Chinesse martial arts..

yeah... what you need is definitely a brake... and a good one.
