tak samo jak the teachings of Jesus brzmi lepiej od Jesus'/iz/ teachings, tak
druga forma wyglada lepiej i brzmi ladniej.

      saxon genitive.

try to tell a canadian that a company name like "black's" is a saxon genitive
of "black", and they will stare at you hopelessly. all of them use it daily,
no problem, but noone knows the theory.

there was once a great canadian institution, a chain of department stores
called "eaton's" for timothy eaton who started it in the 1850s. one day all
the stores dropped the letter "'s" from their name thus becoming "eaton". the
reason - in french-speaking canada, in quebec, it was a barrier to growth.
