Translation help required !

Polish name 'Wyższa Szkoła Humanistyczno-Ekonomiczna', with the obligatory
use of 'University' in your English translation. Any clever ideas? The more
the better !

Why would anyone insist on College of Higher Education becoming University on
paper? It clearly isn't! Self-image problem? Apart from that, it would sound
absolutely ridiculous: ' Humanities and Economics University' or any variety on
the combination. University is clearly something 'bigger' than just a faculty
or department...
'Humanities and Economics Dep. at the Warsaw University', could be one
acceptable take on it.

There's a big difference between University an a college.
I doubt that you allowed to call 'Wyższa Szkoła Humanistyczno-Ekonomiczna' an
University.
It should be called a College.

My point was not to get info regarding the technical issues (please let's leave
the issue of using either university or college in the name - this is out of my
question ). I wanted some of the Forum readers to share ideas on the
arrangement of the phrase I gave in my first post in Polish !!! Let me repeat:
Wyzsza Szkoła Humanistyczno-Ekonomiczna (use University in your translation)

you cant use the word 'university' in this translation
is it so hard to understand???

Try to translate this:

Kupilem kilogram jablek na szarlotke.

But you must use the word "oranges" in your translation.

I agree with the others, that you SHOULD NOT use the word 'university' in your
translation. If you have no other choice, what about
'Humanities and Economics University'.

Sounds weird, but in Polish as well... :-P

Twoj pomysl z 'Academy' jest ok, ale w USA maja glownie akademie strazackie...
No, ale w sumie to może lepiej oddać klimat uczelni ekonomiczno-humanistycznej
(a może zrobić ekonomiczno-humanistyczno-strażacką? można by bezpiecznie piec
szarlotki...)
