jakie angielskie książki do czytania?

Jakie książki po angielsku byłyby odpowiednie do czytania dla osoby, która
uczy się dwa lata tego języka? Nie uczyłam się go w moim liceum, lecz w
szkole językowej, i z tego co zauważyłam w mojej grupie, radzę sobie lepiej
niż np. osoba, która uczyła się go na studiach.
Interesują mnie horrory, może coś Kinga, może innych autorów... Oczywiście
bez słownika by się nie obyło:)

Wprawdzie nie horror ale lekka i zajmujaca ksiazeczka "Shopaholic's
Sister".Bardzo latwy jezyk, potoczny i duzo realiow z zycia tzw middle class w
UK.

A moja znajoma, jeszcze dosyc cienko radzaca sobie z angielskim, zaczela
od Agathy Christie...i tak sie zawziela, ze prawie wszystkie jej ksiazki przeczytala. Nie wiem, ja zaczynalem od specjalnie dla ESL (english as a second language program, here in Canada) ksiazek okrojonych. Czytalem Dickensa, na levelu 4, Londona na 5, i Alistaira McLainea na 6. (wszystko okrojone).

Az wreszcie kupilem sobie nornalna ksiazke w sklepie. (Jakis kryminal czy cos)
Po przeczytaniu stwierdzilem, ze ja znam angielski!!!
To bylo 11 lat temu, i teraz wiem, ze tylko tak mi sie wtedy wydawalo.
Nauka jezyka to jest zajecie na cale zycie, wieczne "wyczajanie" niuansow, chociaz czasami wydaje sie, ze juz sie go tak dobrze zna.

Zapomniałam dodać, ze jestem ciekawa również treści tych książek, wynienionych
wyżej (a nie tylko "Shopaholic's sister", szkoda że nie można edytować swoich
postów)
