How to say "kilkanaście" in English. And what about "kilkadziesiąt"?
Is "tens of sth"correct? I haven't the slightest idea. Can anyone help?

I am not 100 percent sure but kilkanascie can be translated to "a dozen or so"
and kilkadziesiat to "scores". The logic of the English language is a bit
different.

yes, "a dozen or so" seems the most accurate translation.
As for "kilkadziesiąt" I've also come across the
expression "a few dozens".

How about 'several' for 'kilkanascie'. 'Tens' for 'kilkadziesiat' is spot on.

There is no translation for “Kilkanascie”
But you could say: They were in teens.
For example you see a group of people and when asked how many they were, you
could say they were in teens.

For "Kiladziesiat" you could say:
They were in tens-for kilakdziesat
They were in hundreds-for kilkaset
They were in thousands-for kilkatysiecy
itd

A score is twenty, the number twenty (20).
For some reason it may be approximately twenty, but to an
archer it still means exactly 20 yards.
Three scores and one equals sixty-one.
Scores is many or very many.
A dozen is twelve, unless it is a baker's dozen.

Try anywhere from ten to twenty, or a dozen or so,
but not a dozen.

Thanks everyone.However, I don't think your suggestions are of any use to me.
They sound O.K. in colloquial English not in more formal one (sort of a
