Alcohol causes enzymes in cells and in the liver to begin detoxification,
because alcohol is a poison. One of those enzymes is alcohol dehydrogenase.
This convert alcohols into aldehydes. These are what cause a lot of nasty
hangover effects. But there is a help. In English is called "the hair of the
dog",and in Polish we call, well come on everybody, how do we call, of
course "klin"."The hair of the dog" or "klin", as well as briefly rehydrating
        you,also turns on the enzymes in the liver. Alcohol dehydrogenase is produced;
this in turn makes more aldehydes; then that turns on the enzymes responsible
for getting rid of aldehyde. It's a little kick-start to your biochemistry
that detoxifies the residual aldehydes. All what I can say is, that it may
help you to survive next morning or you will take unplesent trip to the
shitwhole to check the porcelane from the inside. With me it works both ways.
        Cheers.

W słowniku idiomów znalazłem kiedyś taką perełkę:
"I've had many hangovers in my life, but this particular one is a daddy of
          them all"

"daddy of them all" Huh - urocze, prawda ? "kac nad kace", albo "matka
          wszytkich kaców" :o)))

Where did you get this rubbish from? I don't know that I've heard any of it
used by native speakers. It sounds ridiculously formal anyway. Stick
with 'hangover' or 'I've got a bit of a bad head today', or 'Feeling a bit
        below par'

          totally spent , badger's arse , atom splitter ,
shakes, shot, willies , DTs , feebles

I hope the above are simple enough and used by some (fortunately not all)
native speakers. I have done my best to find tosser friendly yokle like
examples to cater for all tastes.

I is 'oping you is 'appy mi 'ommi.
