Hello Jonathan, how are you coping with the heat these days? ;-) Anyway, I'd
like to ask you: is 'kerfuffle' (so greatly used by Lou, LB :) - an
old-fashioned word (hence the comic effect in the series?) or is it commonly
used in contemporary English? ;-) Was just wondering..
BTW, do you ever follow Vicky Pollard's raging river of thoughts??;-))))))))))))
All the best!
D.
ps. Oh, and just one thing more. In Mr Mann's scenes I've sometimes heard the
phrase "What can I do you for?". Is this supposed to be a pun (instead of
"What can I do for you", what we get here is the funny effect relating to
implying 'killing'? Am I close or am imagining too much, perhaps? ;-)))))))))
Thank you in advance??
