Poszukuję przepisu na bubliczki. Wiem, że jadało się je ciepłe i nie
są one tym samym co bajgle - obwarzanki. Z góry dziękuję za pomoc.

      Sweet Boiled Buns - bubliki
      www.chefs-help.co.uk

In the 1920s Soviet Russia instituted its New Economic Policy (NEP),
permitting a certain degree of private enterprise. A new breed of
Soviet citizen, the wily entrepreneur, emerged, wheedling the public
to buy wares often of dubious quality. Many less sophisticated
sellers also took to the streets in an attempt to peddle their
goods, and for a while the cities were once again full of all manner
of colourful hawkers. One of the most popular products of this era
were the bubliki, or buns, sold hot from portable ovens and
immortalised in a contemporary song, 'Bublichki', in which a young
girl bewails her father's drunkenness and the fact that she must eke
out her livelihood hawking buns on the street. The well-loved
bubliki are actually none other than water buns, or bagels, boiled
until puffy and then baked to a golden finish in the oven. The
recipe presented here is a less common version of these popular
buns. A sweet, enriched dough is boiled in flavoured milk before
baking, resulting in a light and dainty bun perfect for breakfast or
      tea.
      Makes 1 dozen buns.

      2 oz (60 g) unsalted butter
      1/4 teaspoon mace
      4 oz (120 g) sugar
      1 1/2 pints (900 ml) milk
      3 egg yolks
      2 teaspoons vanilla essence
      6 oz (170 g) plain flour
      1 1/2teaspoons baking powder
      Pinch of salt
      1 egg yolk, beaten
      Sugar crystals
      Conversion Table

      Method
Cream the butter and sugar. Beat in the egg yolks. Stir in the
baking powder, mace and enough flour to make a firm dough. Divide
the dough into 12 pieces. Shape each piece into a ring 2 in (5 cm)
      in diameter.

In a deep pan bring the milk and vanilla essence to the boil. Drop
in the rings of dough, a few at a time, and cook them in the boiling
milk, until they rise to the surface, which will take only a minute.

With a slotted spoon, transfer the rings to a baking tray and brush
them with the beaten egg yolk, then sprinkle with large crystal
      sugar.

Preheat the oven to 150°C/300°F/Gas 2. Bake the bubliki until they
are puffed and brown, about 30 minutes. Transfer to racks to cool.
