motorcyclists remains found on car, now a Judge allows her to drive to and

Wiem, ze o Australii sporo juz bylo i zle i dobrze, ale decyzje wyjazdu do
szkoły jezykowej juz podjalem.. pytanie - ktora wybrac. To jest spory
wydatek i zarazem ryzyko. Czy ktos moze mi pomoc? Moze ktos z czytajacych ma
jakies rozeznanie.. wie np. ktorej szkoly nalezy

I would like to ask you (just out of curiosity, because I'm 15 and
haven't taken matura yet) if the following sentence is correct:
2.4 I prefer staying dirty to washing in that water
(RATHER)
I would stay dirty rather than wash in that water.
I know that in the key, there is "I would rather stay drity than..."
(which I would have chosen) but I'm wondering if this form
with "rather than" is also OK...
Can somebody help me ;)?
