Ganymede Sp. z o.o. casual, social and mobile games developer and publisher is looking for Senior System Administrator.


You will be responsible for daily operations and support for enterprise operating systems, as well as activities related to day-to-day systems maintenance. As a Senior System Administrator you will provide technical expertise on all technologies used with regard to server hosting to developers and other departments.
What you will do:

Manage system software installation, configuration, updates and performance
Define and improve processes to ensure maximum uptime of the servers
Optimize hardware resource usage and suggest architectural changes
Maintain internal and external network, resolve issues and suggest architectural/performance changes
Act as 3rd level support
Compile Quake on Raspberry-Pi wink

Must-have:

Passion to learn new concepts, technology and process
Linux passionate - maybe not a Tux tatoo on your arm, but at least following Linus @Google+ wink
Outstanding skills and knowledge in Linux operating systems administration (RHEL, CentOS)
Solid skills and experience in shell scripting (Bash|PERL|Python)
Outstanding skills in diagnosing / resolving issues regarding to performance problems (web applications, (My)SQL database servers and other general infrastructure)
Three years minimum experience in system administration
Network knowledge (solid understanding in the field of OSI layers, packets transport etc)
Strong security experience (firewalls, PKI concepts)
Excellent communication skills in English


Nice to have:

Red Hat certified (RHCSA, RHCE) or LPI
CCNA
Monitoring systems knowledge and experience (Nagios, Ganglia)
Virtualization experience
Participation in open source projects
Knowledge of KVM and OpenStack
Some KOMs on Strava wink
Experience in working with NoSQL database systems
Experience with GlusterFS distributed storage
Knowledge of following solutions: Postfix, Bind, Nginx, HaProxy, Apache, MySQL
OpenWRT, R-Pi and Arduino experience wink
Experience with MariaDB
