Przedstawiam Państwu scenariusz lekcji z języka angielskiego. Proszę o opinie.
LESSON PLAN

Topic: The White Stripes– poznajemy wybrane czasowniki złożone ‘Phrasal verbs’
Date: 25.03.2011r.
Class profile.
Level: pre- intermediate, the sixth year of learning English.
Number of students: 8
Age of students: 15-year-olds.
Aim:
- Developing verbal communication skills using real materials.
Objectives:
- students practise using of some phrasal verbs;
- students remember the meaning of the phrasal verbs.
- students are able to complete the sentences with the correct form of phrasal verbs.
Materials: real pictures of The White Stripes and Maria Sharapova, student book, exercise book (Elsworth, S.; Rose, J.: ‘Energy 3’, 2005, Pearson Longman).
Organizational phase.
Greeting students
The teacher is comming and speaks:
T: Good morning!.
Ss: Good morning.
T: How are you today?
Ss: I’m fine, thank you. / I’m OK. /I’’m not very well.
T: I have some idea for today.
Ss: Wow.
T: Today we are going to learn phrasal verbs.
Ss: What does it mean?
T: I’ll tell you everything
Checking attendance.
The teacher asks one student (e.g. student who has the number of the day) who is absent today.
T: Is everybody here?
S:Adam is away.
T:Why is he absent? Is he ill?
Ss: Yes, he has gone to the dentist. I saw him.
Lead – in.
Books closed. Ss discuss their favourite bands in pairs. The teacher elicits feedback on which groups Ss like or dislike and why.
T: I put you in pairs A nad B. Could you discuss in pairs, what are your favourite bands?
Ss: Yes, we could
T: I will ask you ‘Why?’, so you should prepare some arguments.
Ss: Ok.

The teacher asks Ss what they know about The White Stripes.
T: Do you know the group ‘The White Stripes’?
Ss: No.
The teacher writes some information about the group on the board.
T: I tell you something about them.
Their name and look comes from a peppermint sweet in the USA. The instruments used to make the album ‘Elephant’ were all older than the band members. Meg’s surname is White but Jakc’s real surname is Gillis. The album ‘Elephant’ was recorded in England and, on the cover. Jack is holding a cricket ba t(….)

The teacher shows the posters with The White Stripes.
The teacher monitors and helps if necessary. He also nominates ss to answer. Ss can answer in Polish or English. When they say in Polish, the teacher should translate into English.
Ss are refered to text about The White Stripes in the book, page 64.
T: Please, read the article and answer the questions below.

T: Please, look at the exercise number 2 and find these phrasal verbs in the text, then match them with the correct meaning. Is it clear?
Practice
Ss find the phrasalverbs in the text, which they have red. The teacher monitors closely and halps where necessary.
Ss give answers. The teacher correct when necessary.

T: Why do you think it is important to note phrasal verbs in a sentence?
Ss: …Because there are lots of them,
… because they often have more than one meaning,
… because meaning is not always obvious from the individual words used.

Ss work in pairs to complete the exercise. The teacher monitors.
T: Now, you can do exercise number 3, you can complete the sentences with the correct phrasal verbs from exercise 2. (…)
