Algeria attack kills 22
More than 60 people have been killed over the last five weeks
Suspected Islamic rebels have killed 22 people in western Algeria, government
security sources say.
The killings took place in two separate overnight incidents and are part of a
recent flare-up of violence.
In one attack, in a village near Sidi Lakhdar about 130 kilometres (81 miles)
west of Algiers, the rebels used explosives to blast their way into a home,
before killing 13 members of the same family.
