Dla ludzi z terrorystycznym nastawieniem-cos nie do pomyslenia.
Ale jednak.
W naszym meczecie robimy co rok 1 dzien "otwarty", tzn. zapraszamy wszystkich
znajomych i wspolmieszkancow -nie zaleznie od religii do naszego meczetu
goscimy ich wlasnorecznie przygotowanymi potrawami i wspolnie modlimy sie.
Co rok przychodzilo wiecej ludzi i w tym ksieza z pobliskich parafii.
Wygladali na zachwyconych i niektorzy przychodzili pozniej w odwiedziny do nas.
W piatek pokazali nam prawdziwosc swej przyjazni-zaprosili muzulmanow do siebie.

W kosciele Rzymsko -Katolickim St. Laurentius -2601-Sollenau
odbyla sie msza sw. Islamsko-Chrzescijanska.

1) Powitanie przez ksiedza Corneliusa
2) Powitanie przez Hodzia Ömera el Ravi
3) Chor Chrzescijanski
4) Czytanie Kuranu i tlumaczenie na niemiecki
5) "Psalmy" Islamskie
6) Czytanie Biblii
7) Wspolne piesni i modlitwy o POKOJ
Bufet.

Chrzescijanscy uczestnicy przy zimnym bufecie przekazali nam wrazenia z tego
spotkania.Wielu z nich mowilo:
"wrocilem z pracy, bylem zmeczony pomyslalem ze wpadne chociaz na chwile ale
wrazenie bylo tak niesamowite ze usiadlem jak zaczarowany."

Najwieksze wrazenie zrobil na nich okrzyk islamski:
Allahu Ekber!
Mowili ze serca ich zadrzaly.

Jest jeszcze takie pozdrowienie dla proroka Muhammeda (s.a.v.) spiewane w
formie "psalmu":
"Allahümme sali ala seyyidina Muhammedinin nebiyyil ümmiyi..."
Chrzescijanom bardzo sie to podobalo, mowili potem-
" w sercu cos mi sie zrobilo, tak jakby zaczelo sie wyrywac"

To nie jest propaganda- rzeczywistosc, nawet gdy komus nie pasuje.

holy month of Ramadan. Ramadan is a special time of year for Muslims. It is a
month filled with many blessings; so much so that the devout pray that they may
live just to see one more month of Ramadan.




'... The thirst is gone, and the veins replenished, and the reward is
confirmed, if Allah wills'
Allah's Apostle said, "When the month of Ramadan starts, the gates of the
heaven are opened and the gates of Hell are closed and the devils are chained."
[Bukhari].

The sighting of the crescent moon at the end of the month of Shaban marks the
beginning of the holy month of Ramadan. This year, Ramadan begins either on
November 16th or 17th. Because Ramadan is a lunar month, it begins 11 days
earlier each year. Ramadan falls in the ninth month of the Islamic lunar
calendar, Al Hijrah, and was the month in which the first verses of the holy
Quran were revealed to Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him) in the year 610.

In the Quran it says: "O ye who believe! Fasting is prescribed to you as it was
prescribed to those before you, that ye may (learn) self-restraint...Ramadan is
the (month) in which was sent down the Quran, as a guide to mankind, also clear
(Signs) for guidance and judgment (between right and wrong). So every one of
you who is present (at his home) during that month should spend it in
fasting..." (2:183-185).

Fasting makes up one of the five pillars of Islam. It is in this blessed month
that Muslims take part in the month-long fast; abstaining from food, drink,
smoking and other sensual pleasures from before the break of dawn to sunset.
Fasting is compulsory upon every able Muslim past the age of puberty and upon
those who are mentally and physically fit. By fasting, Muslims are adhering to
God’s commandments and are fasting out of love and obedience to the Almighty.
Abu Huraira narrated that Allah's Messenger said: "Whoever observes fasts
during the month of Ramadan out of sincere faith, and hoping to attain Allah's
rewards, then all his past sins will be forgiven." [Bukhari]




There are many benefits a Muslim can obtain from fasting during the month of
Ramadan. While fasting, a Muslim learns compassion and generosity toward those
less fortunate. When a Muslim abstains from food and drink, he/she also
abstains from immoral behavior and careless talk and gossip. Fasting is a means
toward self-purification of the body, mind, and soul. A Muslim achieves God-
consciousness and strives to attain piety (taqwa). Through fasting, a Muslim
learns self-discipline, patience, and unselfishness. Ramadan offers Muslims an
opportunity to better themselves spiritually and morally. The month is spent as
a time for inner reflection and renewed commitment to God.

Some of the traditions Muslim follow during Ramadan include the breaking of
one’s fast at sunset with a glass of water and dates. The Prophet (peace be on
him) said: "When one of you breaks the fast, he should do so with dates,
because it is blessed. If he couldn't get dates, then (break your fast with)
water, because it purifies". (Tirmidhi). The Prophet (peace be on him) used to
say at the time of Iftar: "O Allah I kept the fast for You, and with Your
sustenance I am breaking (my fast). The thirst is gone, and the veins
replenished, and the reward is confirmed, if Allah wills." (Abu Dawud).

Throughout Ramadan, Muslims study and recite passages from the entire Quran,
regularly attend mosques and Islamic lectures, strengthen family and community
ties, and engage in social visits. During Ramadan, Muslims perform special
prayers called Taraweeh after the daily nighttime prayer. In the month of
Ramadan, Muslims look forward to Lailat Al Qadr (The night of Power), which
marks the night on which Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) first began
receiving revelations from God, through the Angel Gabriel. Muslims believe
Lailat Al Qadr falls in one of the last odd-numbered nights of Ramadan.
Worshipping during this night is better than a thousand months. An entire
chapter in the Quran deals with this night:




"We have indeed revealed this (Message) in the Night of Power: and what will
explain to thee what the Night of Power is? The Night of Power is better than a
thousand months. Therein come down the angels and the Spirit by God's
permission, on every errand. Peace!...This until the rise of morn. (Chapter 97).

"Eid Al Fitr," or Feast of the fast-breaking marks the end of Ramadan and is
estimated to take place on December 16th. Muslims mark the end of Ramadan by
offering special alms (sadaqat al fitr) with communal prayers. On this
occasion, Muslims greet one another with the phrase "Eid Mubarak" (Blessed Eid)
or "taqabbalallah ta'atakum” (May God accept your deeds). The holiday is
observed with festive feasts, exchanging of gifts and visiting of family and
friends.
