Gaza houses demolished in IDF operation

A Qassam rocket landed on the southern town of
Sderot Monday afternoon. One person was reportedly
injured.

An Israeli army unit entered the
southern Gaza Strip town of
Khan Yunis overnight Sunday and
demolished two Palestinian
houses before withdrawing
again, Israel Radio reported
Monday morning.

Israel said the houses were empty structures
used by militants as cover for firing at
Israeli soldiers stationed in the region.
