RE: buttered fly - 'expert' my ass

RE: your question, in Canada there is no such thing. No difference between day and night studies either (both streams
pay/get the same) In my postgraduate program's study group I had 25yr-old 'kids' and 50yr++-old-timers
        (trzeciowiekowcow?) ..

depending on the context..., I would venture:

University / college courses for Seniors (at community colleges these tend to be heavily subsidized)

        good luck

              Too many religous thoughts???

No, it's my fault chickenShorts. When I wrote about my children I never stated
clearly it hadn't been by means of adoption. And also talking about
the 'sacred' one he always was already or still having a nap... Yes, it was me
              who misled you.

Ah, but of course! Well, just another illusion... Time to grow up, eh?
(It's always been woman's fault as the Bible testifies... )

            OOps,

Mea culpa, Canada is way up north of the UK and I honestly thought you were putting a fast one on the unsuspecting
            local.

On the other hand, I bet most US speakers would not know this particular program, either.

Yeah, there are at least two of you (look at salmotrutta's comments) - but who
cares? - I don't - two perfect nobodys know nothing about something of some
great importance... Their ignorance makes no difference to the existing facts.
Just like calling me a buttered fly doesn't make me turn into that stuff
              • zegar4 friendly bunch they are 08.03.03, 05:24
Well, the Canada that knows things (on this and other
subjects, and it does) is way south of the UKEY. Shame on
you, Torontonian. Assing left and right is unCanadian.
                Good for you, butterfly!

                  Yada, yada,

Like I said, I was trying to help the initial inquirer avoid what seemed to me as a misleading tip. Hence my mistake and
                  apology.

Obviously, there are plenty of North American English terms and expressions that our friendly Brits would not know.

As to the Canadian geography, White Horse, Yellowknife or even parts of Quebec (not to mention Ellesmere
Island) ARE way up north of the UK. Check the map.
