What is the meaning of that phrase? I was trying to figure it out and i am
guesing it means something like: good luck to him or good for him. Am i right?

It's normally used as a response to something moving/cute/endearing
that somebody has said or done, particularly if they've tried their
hardest, even if the result was not perfect. Variations
include "bless his/her cotton socks", or just "oh, bless".

      For example:
"My twelve year old sister cooked us all a dinner last night - the
potatoes were slightly too salty and overcooked, and the steak was
tough as old boots, but she tried her best, bless her".

"Kate's boyfriend spent the whole weekend trawling the shops for the
perfect engagement ring, he even missed his team's match bless him".
