Have you tried writing them yourself??

I don't get it: how do some people expect to learn English if all they want is
easy way out?? Why bother studying then? Those people are only wasting their
      teacher's valuable time.
      • Gość: d0minika Re: Wypracowania IP: *.jawnet.pl 15.11.03, 22:38
Some people have to do it. In school. It's stupid, they don't study, but it is
their choice. Students don't learn example Polish or Biology too...
        • Gość: wannabekiwi Re: Wypracowania IP: *.sympatico.ca 15.11.03, 22:41
Fine, if somebody doesn't want to study because it's forced on them, then it's
their choice not to study. But they shouldn't come here and ask other people
to do their homework either. It's plagiarism. If they don't feel like
studying then they should accept a failing grade.

Plagiarism? What world are you living in? Here's a public forum, so anyone can
post whatever they wish to. Sometimes the point is not to study, but to finish
the school (and if the person knows finds alternative ways to do it, it means
he or she can make it in the real world). there's another place for those who
don't want to plagiarize - Kujon Polski. Maybe it's your turn to post there :D?
And maybe you're going to tell me you've never cheated at school D+D).

Some places for essays in english are www.sciaga.net or www.korepetycje.com

Yup, that's exactly what I'm gonna tell ya. I didn't go to school in Poland
and where I went to school cheating in any form was punished severely - in high
school: for the first offence suspension from school for a few days; second
offence - expulsion from school. In university: if they caught you teaching
they would throw you out faster than you can blink.
              I understand it's hard to believe, but there are still honest people out there;
              obviously not on this forum.

                  hehehe good one

actually, that's a topic for another discussion thread: do professors really
teach? some don't. some don't even know how to teach because they were
                  trained as researches not teachers.

Sad Polish reality, they weren't trained as researchers either...

Don't get overexcited. Although that's the general approach, much depends on
the teacher. Sometimes they are not that cruel - the first time you get caught.
Yet students in Canada still cheat, in high school and university as well.

Don't look down at those in Polish schools. Cheating is not widely applauded
there although there's definitely too much leniency.

Thank you very much on behalf of all of us, hehehe.

Well, I can't understand how someone can be so stupid and write an essay for
people who are too lazy to do it themselves. There are so many more interesting
            things to do...
            • Gość: wannabekiwi Re: Wypracowania IP: *.sympatico.ca 16.11.03, 15:15
They are just trying to show off they can speak/write English. That's all.
Some people need to feel superior. A psychological complex or something.
              • Gość: chris Re: Wypracowania IP: *.icpnet.pl 16.11.03, 16:07
You're right. I haven't thought about it. Still, it seems stupid to me. Even
                more.
                • Gość: wannabekiwi Re: Wypracowania IP: *.sympatico.ca 16.11.03, 16:19
Well, we need all kinds of people, otherwise the world (and life) would be
                  rather boring.
                  • Gość: mari.anna Re: Wypracowania IP: *.icpnet.pl 16.11.03, 16:22
True. It's more interesting this way. As well as annoying... sometimes:-)
                    • Gość: wannabekiwi Re: Wypracowania IP: *.sympatico.ca 16.11.03, 16:36
You know, I wouldn't mind helping people with translations, that is, correcting
their own translations, but I'm not going to write the entire essay for
anyone. I find people who ask that quite arrogant and lazy. Someone in this
thread wrote that some people have to study English even if they don't want
to. Too bad, I say. If you don't want to study, then don't and accept a lower
                      or a failing grade.

Besides, if you (all of you who ask others to do their homework) think that
your teachers don't know what you're doing, you really are stupid. If your
English skills are poor on oral examinations as well as written in-class tests,
then no teacher will believe that you wrote that perfect essay yourself. Think
                      people. Think. It doesn't hurt.
              • kociamama Re: Wypracowania 18.11.03, 08:55
Or maybe they've already been supposed to write such an essay for school, and
they thought they could help their peers in need.

                Kociamama.

Hehe, are you for real? Do you live on the dark side of the Moon? You are not
going to see that anywhere any time soon.

Not in Poland, that's for sure. Maybe in a couple hundred years.
