Honda's next hybrid is coming - and the Accord with the gas-electric
powertrain will look like this picture released Monday by American Honda. The
2005 Accord V-6 Hybrid, Honda promises, will have a next-gen hybrid
powertrain that will put out enough performance to best the current 240-hp
Accord V-6 but will achieve fuel economy closer to that of the four-cylinder
Civic compact. The Accord will not only feature hybrid power but also will
have Variable Cylinder Management (VCM) technology, which shuts off three of
the engine's six cylinders under lighter power use to save more fuel. The
hybrid Accord goes on sale in the fall.

Interesuje mnie to auto. Zobaczymy jak bedzie z cena i z osiagalnoscia. Prius
sprzedaje sie na pniu i ludziska placa po $5k powyzej ceny detalicznej. A i tak
jest dlug kolejka oczekujacych.

Tez bym chetnie cos takiego kupil. Co prawda porownywanie silnika R4 z V6 jest
nieporozmieniem chocby z powodu kultury i odglosu pracy, ale za to stosunek
osiagow do zuzycia paliwa jest imponujacy.

Ten Accord ma miec ten sam V6 (tyle ze z deaktywacja cylindrow) + elektryczny.

Jak zwykle w pospiechu nie doczytalem. Co smieszniejsze, czytalem to samo na
Interii i tez bylem swiecie przekonany, ze wrzucaja R4.
W takim razie mozna ta hybryde porownac do V8 i tu juz jest OK :)
