In ordinary skis (1), the carbon fiber is riddled with tiny voids. Atomic
injects nanoscopic silicon oxide crystals (2) into these voids. The result is a
super-slim platform with a low swing weight, effortless turning and the power
of more substantial (read "heavier") skis. You'll feel total control and all-
day fatigue-free skiing.

You can't see Nanotechnology. But when you ski any Atomic Izor or Balanze model
with Nanoframe technology, you'll understand why the next big thing in skiing
is small.

Nanoframe models are based on a thin, light-weight ski with a raised perimeter
frame. The frame makes a closed loop at the tip (3), ensuring superior
torsional rigidity. The split frame at the tail (4) permits the rear of the ski
to be more supple for effortless turning. Nanoframe controls twisting, and
delivers precise handling, tenacious grip and heart-pounding acceleration.

The model numbers on a Nanoframe ski represent the Torsion Index. On a scale of
1-10, the first number indicates the stiffness of the tip; the second the tail.
We can independently control these stiffness values by injecting different
concentrations of nanoscopic silicon oxide crystals (5) into the carbon fiber.
The result? A ski that's perfectly dialed to help you ski to your potential.
