            Make do = manage with what's available, or without making too much effort.
            There's no butter, we'll just have to make do with margarine.
            We'll make do with the parts we've got, if we need to we can sort it later.

          The word "nowt" is mainly used in the north of England, but it's universally
          understood and appears in all half-decent dictionaries, so yours obviously
          isn't very good.

      "to make do with" is a very common expression meaning to make best use of what
      is available;

      " I wish you told me you were bringing your friend for dinner. I guess we will
      have to make do with what we have got in the fridge".
