According to what I know from my family experience no less than 300 euros
montly, it's very difficult to find a decent place to live for less than tis
ammount of money.

Water and electricity are quite expensive and gas if in 15kg bottles is indeed
expensive.

Because during winter the houses are very cold and don't have -like in Poland-
central heating (soo good!)get's very dificult to warm them so you start buying
electrical warmers and the power consumption goes sky rocketing.

My sister lives 24 km from Porto in an apartment with 2 rooms (no central
heating)and pays every month around 350 euros only for rent.

Lisbon Porto and coastal areas can also be expensive though I recall that my ex-
boss in Portugal was renting a nice apartment in the beach of Fao near Viana do
Castelo for less than 250 euros but June July August and September were not
included in the agreement with the land lord.

Be always carefull with cheap renting, I recall an apartment near my place in
Portugal very cheap to rent but full of moss in the walls and stinky stained
torned carpets all over the floor - pretty disgusting -
