Do you use a coat of arms for "herb" if you speak about the one of the town
or the city is there any other word for it (a sign of a city?) I`ll
appreciate the soonest possible advice Thanks a lot

      Yes, but why not call it what it looks like. If it has a shield, a motto, a
      charge, a crest, and what not, call it a coat of arms. If it looks like a
      crest alone, it's a crest; if it is a charge, call it a charge. "Emblem" is
      also good, but it can also mean just about "symbol", e,g., the dove is the
      emblem of meekness and a symbol of peace.
