BRITISH AND AUSTRALIAN DIFFERENCES

I`ve got one question. Can you give me some examples of words that are
pronounced in a completely different way in Australia and British? I`d be
grateful.

In Australia they do not pronounce diphthongs likle "ei" , instead they have
diphthong "ai" so Today is in english (tudei) and in Australian (tudai)

Check out Cockneys and generally working class London speech - this is roughly the same speech (rhyming slang excepted :). Agreed, not all Aussies have convicts for ancestors, but most of them sure speak like ones ;)))
