Proszę o pomoc!

16.12.02, 12:15
wszelkie sugestie!!!

Pozdrawiam
Ch.

Just show them your fingernails. They'll know what to do!

      Tips are tips
Acrylic gel I suppose, I never had tips done. But they are (people who work
there) all oriental and their English is probably like yours.

--Could you fix up the tips on my existing nails .....?

P.S. Ja uwielbiam french style na moich wlasnych paznokciach, wiec to jest
zdrowsza sprawa niz te sztuczne, gumowe ..ha..ha..ha

      ACRYLIC NAILS - WARNING

You may wonder why you should pay £30 upwards for a set of nails when you can
go to a salon in the high street and get a set for £20.00. Please remember the
old saying - you get what you pay for. Over the last year or so many nails
only salons have sprung up offering very low priced acrylic nails. If you have
been to the States you will have seen these salons all over the place. Please
be very careful if you chose to have your nails done in one of these salons.
Not all, but a lot of them are using a product which is very dangerous if
inhaled and can be very harmful to your nail beds. You, as a client will be
unaware of the product used, but there are signs.

The technicians will be wearing face masks.

There will be a very strong odour in the salon, almost acidic.

The technicians will be using drills or electric files to shape the nails,
instead of working with hand files.

The nails will be very cheap, around £15 - £20 a set.

The nails will be very hard to remove, they will have to be removed with an
      electric file.

The technician will not be able to explain the nail procedure and products
      used.

The technicians will be very keen to apply a whole new set instead of in fills,
because the nails will turn an ugly yellow after a few weeks.

SEPARATE ISSUE - please do not allow your technician to blend the tip to your
      nail with an electric file.

      *

I do not want to confuse you so I will explain the main points as simply as I
      can.

Acrylic nails are made with two substances - a liquid and a powder which form
together to create the acrylic nails. The correct liquid used for nails
contains a substance called EMA (Ethyl Methacrylate), the damaging liquid
contains MMA (Methyl Methacrylate). MMA liquid is very very cheap compared
with the EMA liquid, which will be why the nails are so cheap. MMA liquid
should not be used for nails, it is for the dental industry (where acrylic
nails originated from). It is used to make crowns for your teeth. Serious
adverse skin reactions and permanent nail deformities are only part of the
risks of using MMA. Long term use of MMA may lead to permanent damage to the
respiratory system (which is why you see the nail technicians wearing face
      masks).

MMA creates extensions which are too rigid for the natural nail plate. MMA
extensions resist breaking if accidentally caught or jammed. This often leads
to painful breakage of the nail plate near the cuticle which may result in
sever infections. Please do not think the nails are good because they are
strong, nail extensions should be treated as your own nails. Breakages are a
common occurance of natural nails. You want to be left with a nail, all be it
a broken one, but one which will grow back healthily.
