Update on the progress
How are we doing so far, sehr geehrte Minister of Information?
Have your superiors noticed recently any statistically significant quality
improvement on the “Forum Polonia”?
On the “good” side: since the introduction of draconian and somehwhat random
censorship on this discussion board at least one of our discussions has made
to the honorable board of GW, first page!

I understand that for this undisputed triumph, our controller got some warm
words of encouragement from the superior(s). In old days that would certainly
mean financial stability for the next few generations in the form of the
famous “talon na malucha” (absolutely no pun intended
. Sadly, these days
the generosity of the establishment might not be as gratifying
However, we are not greedy people, aren’t we?
Whatever we do, we do due to our conviction$, ideal$, sometimes faith, and
often simply because we are trying to impose our obviously “superior
morality” on others not blessed with this natural gift of choosing what is
good for them.
On a more solemn key, there were quite a few regrettable resignations
submitted by entry level, junior members of the Forum Polonia. It is very
unfortunate that these days young people are so sensitive to well meant
criticism, and crumble so easily under the watchful and prying eyes of the
more senior members, who feel sincerely responsible for the artistic purity
of the presented here material, specially in the area that one could describe
as “relative truthfulness”.
Well, easy come easy go. As it happens, thanks to GW hospitality we have
excellent exposure on this portal, and anybody understands the power of
advertising, must admit, even if grudgingly, that sooner or later they will
come back, as there is such an obvious and insatiable need for human
communication for all those “expatriates” strewn all over the world including
those in spartanly equipped, small and somewhat dark but indeed very active
offices in Warsaw.
In closing remarks, I respectfully wish you much accomplishment in your
difficult, unjustifiably underappreciated and rather exhaustive work, and in
moments of doubt and hesitation it is important to remember that even the
most loathsome job has to be done, and if everything will come to a crashing
end you can always say that you have just followed the orders...
