through all of the passengers and say, 'Did you see anything?' " Ms. Orihuelah
added that anyone who responded that they had seen something was interviewed
more extensively.
I don't understand the grammar structure of the sentence:" Obviously we WOULD
HAVE TO....anything?". Shouldn't it be like this: "Obviously we HAD to go
through....?"?
The context is that the FBI spokeswoman spoke about interviewing all the
passengers of a plane after one passenger had been shot by air marshals. The
