Cherry - wiśnia czy czereśnia?

W moim slowniku wisnia i czeresnia to cherry. Jak je odroznic w mowie? Czy
maja inny akcent? A moze jest inne slowo na okreslenie czeresni? Bo wisnia to
na pewno bedzie cherry.

Cherry to i jedno i drugie, żadnej różnicy w wymowie nie ma. Ewentualnie na
czereśnię mówi się sweet cherry.

lub też ewentualnie na wiśnie mówi się sour cherry lub tart cherry (chyba??? -znam to z ang. przepisów).

Tez mialam ten problem, bo czeresnie to moje najukochansze owoce. No i
sluchajcie:
na opakowaniach napisane jest tak:
wisnie - cherry
czeresnie - BLACK CHERRY

Na opakowaniach owocow, w Waitrossie, nie wiem jak gdzie indziej;)

Ale - tabletki na gardlo czeresniowe - smak black cherry. Dwa rozne jogurty
czeresniowe, roznych firm, ewidentnie czeresniowe i z czeresniami na obrazku -
black cherry. Ja bym sie tego trzymala;)

Jeszcze sie popatrze tak z ciekawosci, popytam, i dam znac;)

PS A swoja droga tu sa BOSKIE;)) balam sie, ze ich sobie nie pojem w tym
roku... no, tyle co w Polsce na pewno nie, bo sa jakis milion razy drozsze,
ale sa olbrzymie i pyszne, wielu odmianach. Zadne tam wodniste, czym mnie
straszyli.

Cherry types

Word Cherry refers to all types. The appropriate adjective describes what type.
Just cherry is generally understood sweet cherry( at least in N. America, Britain may be different) because sour cherries are rare (in stores).
Black (czarna) cherry is a version of Sweet and I do not mean ripeness.
Wild cherry is just a wild tree (dziczka) of all of them.
Sour (kwasna) cherry is a wisnia, it has to say sour.
Yellow cherry is a sweet cherry yellow in colour.
Dwarf cherry is any of the above but the tree is small in stature.

Rainier cherry to jest czereśnia, wiśnia to jest cherry. A te inne to są różne typy wiśni. Carna - Black kwasna - sour etc. ale jeżeli chodzi o dwa typy czyli ta co jest słodka I jest kolorem żółtym I jasno czerwonym czyli czereśnia to nie jest yellow cherry tylko rainier cherry po angielsku. A czereśnia samo cherry. Jak jesteście w sklepie to się pyta albo o rainier cherry albo cherry, czereśnie I wiśnie. Wpiszcie sobie w Google I pokaże wam.
